Welcome to WeeTartanCards.com. These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms, which are governed by Scottish law.

1. About Us

WeeTartanCards.com is a small independent not for profit business based in Scotland. We design and sell greeting cards with 75% of profits donated to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation (a registered Scottish charity, SC047871), supporting research into motor neurone disease.

2. Placing an Order

By placing an order on WeeTartanCards.com, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
  • You are the billpayer or have obtained permission from the billpayer to use their payment method.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, unauthorised activity, or if you are in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are clearly displayed on the website and are listed in Pounds Sterling (GBP).
  • Prices are inclusive of any VAT that may be applicable.
  • We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. However, once your order is placed and confirmed, the price will remain fixed.
  • Payment is processed securely via our third-party payment provider. We do not store your payment details, unless you opt in to this service.

4. Delivery

Please note that delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Availability

All products are offered subject to availability. If an item is out of stock or unavailable:

  • We will notify you by email as soon as possible.
  • You will be offered the option of a refund, an alternative product, or a delayed delivery (if stock is expected to arrive soon).

6. Returns and Refunds

If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact us through this form within 14 days of delivery. Returns may be accepted in accordance with your statutory rights.

Please note: As our profits go to charity, we kindly ask you to consider any return carefully.

7. Personalisation

Some of our products have the option of personalisation. It will be applied exactly as is added by the customer and Wee Tartan Cards holds no liability for any errors made in this process.

8. Donations to Charity

Wee Tartan Cards donates profits from sales to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, supporting its work in tackling motor neuron disease. Donations are made periodically and transparently.

9. Payment and Security

You can pay with most major credit and debit cards using third-party payment gateways Stripe and Square. Through Stripe we also offer express checkout via Link, as well as Google Pay / Apple Pay.

We use Internet standard encryption technology to protect your data when you transmit it to us. When using your card details the data is held on a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server. To check that you are in a secure area of our Website, look for a padlock or unbroken key next to the web address in your browser.

If you are using a public or shared computer, always log out, clear your browsing data (cookies, session data, etc) and close the browser when completing an online session.

We will never ask you to confirm any account details via email. If you ever receive correspondence appearing to be from us asking for these details, please ignore them and do not respond.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
