About Wee Tartan Cards

My name is Fiona, and I created Wee Tartan Cards to support the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation — a cause very close to our hearts. Your support means the world to me and my family.

We sadly lost our beloved Pat (Papi) to motor neuron disease after a brave and courageous fight. Even in his darkest moments, Pat never lost his cheeky spark — we’ll always remember that signature side-eye of disapproval, followed by a Muttley-style chuckle.

Pat was determined not to let the disease define him. He pushed himself beyond his limits to spend precious time with his family, especially his adored grandchildren. And, believe it or not, he somehow always managed to muster the energy to catch the footy on the telly!

His selfless fight and unwavering determination were truly admirable. As a family, we now feel a deep responsibility to continue his legacy — to keep fighting MND in his honour.

Far removed from my usual day job, I’ve found joy and purpose in designing and handcrafting my ‘wee tartan cards.’ Each card is made with love, and with every one sold, we offer hope to those still fighting this cruel disease.

Your support brings us closer to the Foundation’s vision:
A world free from MND.

As Doddie Weir so wisely said:
“Make the most you can of each and every day. Be nice to people, and laugh as much as possible. Enjoy the day — you never know what happens tomorrow.”

Pat will always be our hero. We miss him every single day.
Together, let’s honour his memory, support those still fighting, and help find a cure for MND.

With heartfelt thanks,
Fiona x
